Life Coaching for Highly Sensitive LGBTQ+
Life coaching for highly sensitive queers and introverts who want to embrace their sensitivity, build deep self-trust and resilience, and design a life that feels authentic.

Helping Sensitive Queer folks move from stuck to steady
As someone who is both highly sensitive and part of the LGBTQ+ community, you experience life with an intensity that others might not understand. You pick up on the energy in a room, feel others' emotions as if they were your own, and notice the small details that create the full picture of any moment.
This gift of deep feeling can sometimes feel like a burden. You might have heard you're too sensitive more times than you can count, or felt the pain of having to dim your authentic self to make others comfortable. In workplaces, relationships, and even within communities where you hoped to belong fully, you may have found yourself putting on armour that doesn't quite fit.
The exhaustion is real. The pressure to keep up with a world that moves fast and values toughness over tenderness can leave you feeling drained and questioning whether something is wrong with you. As an LGBTQ+ person, you may carry additional layers of vigilance, reading rooms for safety, managing disclosure decisions, or navigating spaces where parts of your identity feel unwelcome.
But nothing is wrong with you. Your sensitivity isn't something to fix or overcome, it's a profound strength that allows you to connect, create, and care in ways that make the world more beautiful. You have the capacity for deep empathy, authentic relationships, and meaningful experiences that many people spend their whole lives searching for.
You don't need to change who you are to fit into spaces that weren't designed for your wholeness. Instead, you can learn to work with your sensitivity while building the boundaries and practices that help you thrive. You can create a life where your depth is celebrated, not hidden, and where being true to yourself, in all your complexity and beauty, isn't just possible, it's the foundation of everything good that comes next.
“I immediately felt very comfortable with Aimee and in a safe space where I could be open and honest about a range of things in my life.”
- Emma, Leader (she/they)
How Coaching can help LGBTQ+ Highly Sensitive People
As an LGBTQ+ highly sensitive person, you experience the world with extraordinary depth and perception. You feel emotions intensely, pick up on subtle energies, and navigate both your queerness and sensitivity in a world that often misunderstands both. This combination of identities can feel overwhelming, but it's also where your greatest strength lies.
How LGBTQ+ HSP Coaching can transform your life
Emotional empowerment: Navigate life with confidence and self-trust, rather than self-doubt. Learn to set boundaries without guilt, heal past wounds in an affirming space, and build resilience while staying authentically open-hearted
Authentic living: Embrace your queerness and sensitivity as interconnected sources of power. Create relationships and career paths that honour your whole truth, develop practices that reconnect you with your intuition, and show up with courage and joy.
Aligned action: Gain clarity on your goals and take meaningful steps forward at your own pace. Build sustainable structures that support your natural rhythms and navigate change with grace and confidence.
A space that truly gets you
This coaching exists because you shouldn't have to choose between being sensitive and being successful, or between honouring your queerness and finding your place in the world. You need support that understands your unique experience, the way you process emotions, navigate safety, and experience both the gifts and challenges of your identities.
This is for you if you want to transform overwhelm into empowerment, turn self-criticism into self-compassion, and create a life that celebrates exactly who you are rather than asking you to dim your light.
Your sensitivity and queerness aren't obstacles to overcome, they're the very qualities that equip you to create the meaningful, authentic life you're meant to live.
“Aimee is kind and compassionate, as well as being an astute observer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

A coach holds someone as capable and creative, and they work with them to find their path. Coaching helps support someone in new ways of being and doing. It is a collaborative process where you explore a broader range of areas across life — career, health, relationships, etc. It can involve challenging and powerful questions, reframing perspectives, and is driven towards transformation and growth.
Through coaching, I help highly sensitive queer folks to step out of survival mode, trust themselves and make confident choices

Mentoring is helpful if you are looking to better your craft or skillset from someone who has trodden a similar path. It helps to deepen a specialism usually in a professional development space. Mentors give advice and share experiences and insights that can support another person’s journey.

Coaching can delve into areas of mental health and bring up strong emotions for people. While working with emotions is integral to coaching and is a supportive safe space to work with clients, ethical coaches know when their client would be better placed in therapy. This is when the client needs to work through deep trauma, rather than process feelings that won’t cause possible harm.

Co-Active training is recognised as the ‘gold standard’ of coaching by the Institute of Coaching, a Harvard Medical School affiliate that has linked the four cornerstones of the Co-Active Model to evidence-based scientific research.
Co-Active coaching is based on discovery, awareness, and choice. It uncovers what we are doing, and explores who we are being in the world. Based on the principles that we are all naturally creative, resourceful and whole; Co-Active means simply “being in action…together” or “being together…in action.”

In my experience coaching online is just as effective as in-person - and it’s a lot more convenient for clients. That being said, I am very open to connecting in-person and will be looking to do retreats in the future.
I currently work with clients remotely over Zoom or Google Meet and there is additional support via email in between sessions if needed. I love that I get to work with people from all over the world and have coached people from 🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇭🇷 🇧🇪 🇫🇷 🇳🇱 🇨🇦 🇩🇪 🇬🇧 🇹🇭 🇸🇬 🇺🇬

Coaching is a collaborative process where we will work together in explorations that lead to impactful insight and fresh thought. It can involve challenging questions and evoke deep insights and powerful change. Sometimes new insights can happen fast and sometimes not, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to coaching and we will work together to explore what comes up for you.
Coaching will involve a commitment to doing the work to make the change. Coming with intent and openness is key for us to get somewhere.

Yes, of course - if you are an ally. This simply means that you are heterosexual and/or cisgender person who tries to make the world a better place for people who identify as LGBTQIA+ through support and inclusion, then you are welcome to coaching together.

The price of coaching is based on the overall value it brings to your life. Coaching is highly personalised and an invaluable space for personal development. The value and benefits can be immediate and/or continue over the years, from role to role, throughout a career and a lifetime.
I don’t sell one-off coaching sessions because experience has shown me that measurable results and lasting change need time to process and action.
Research shows that fewer than 8 sessions often isn’t enough to create lasting change, especially for neurodiverse minds and I want my clients to get sustainable results that last.
I do offer a limited number of low income coaching sessions throughout the year. Please message me and tell me a little about yourself to join the waitlist.
Check out the community for a lower-cost alternative to one-to-one coaching that includes HSP resources and peer support.

Yes, organisations often pay for coaching from learning and training budgets. Asking for support might be because of
a new role or level in leadership
needing support with imposter syndrome
low self-confidence or self-esteem
areas of improvement in performance
personal development and self-improvement
Companies can pay in full or part for coaching. Feel free to get in touch and see if we are good fit, and we can discuss what works best for you.
