Sensitive and Queer is an online space created for LGBTQ+ folks who identify as highly sensitive, introverted, or deep-thinking. We offer coaching, courses, community, and tools to help you thrive emotionally, creatively, and professionally, without burning out or pretending to be someone you’re not.
Sensitive and Queer started because we didn’t see anything like it. This space was born out of lived experience, of being queer, sensitive, and trying to navigate a noisy world that often didn’t feel built for us. It’s a space for others who feel the same.
-
We’re here for you if you are:
LGBTQIA+ (at any stage of your identity journey)
Highly sensitive (formally or informally identified)
A deep thinker, feeler, or creative
Seeking a slower, more authentic approach to life, work, and community
It’s for you, whatever your path. We mostly see creatives, solopreneurs, caregivers, changemakers, or deep feelers figuring things out. There’s no “right” identity or job title to belong here.

Being highly sensitive means your nervous system processes things deeply. You might feel emotions intensely, get easily overwhelmed by loud noises or chaotic environments, and need more time to recharge. It’s not a flaw, it’s a trait, and it often comes with creativity, empathy, and insight. We follow the framework from Dr. Elaine Aron’s research on HSPs.
-
Not at all. You’re welcome whether you’re fully out, questioning, or keeping your identity private. We understand that safety and comfort look different for everyone.
In the Community, you are asked add a photo to help everyone feel more safe and add a short intro to support you in connecting with each other.

No. While we are trauma-informed and deeply supportive, Sensitive and Queer is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment. If you’re in crisis or need clinical support, we encourage reaching out to a qualified therapist or support service.
Coaching is trauma-informed.
While not a therapy substitute, coaching here is trauma-aware and consent-based. We don’t push, we meet you gently, with presence and respect. You set the pace.

This space is created by and for LGBTQ+ folks who are also highly sensitive or introverted. We centre queer voices, experiences, and needs.
If you’re an ally, we welcome your support; you can share our work, join coaching or donate to help us grow.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re too much, too emotional, or too quiet for the world… you probably belong. You don’t need a formal HSP label or diagnosis. If this space feels like a breath of fresh air, you’re in the right place.
Many of our offerings support people in recovery from burnout, activism, or identity-based issues. You don’t need to be “doing well” to participate. Come as you are.
-
Absolutely. Sensitive and Queer is committed to being actively inclusive and anti-oppressive. We know that sensitivity intersects with race, gender, class, disability, and neurodivergence, and we aim to honour and support that complexity. We’re always learning and welcome feedback.

Yes, for some offerings. We believe access shouldn’t depend on income. Keep an eye out for sliding scale details on each offer, or get in touch to ask about current availability.
We currently offer a mix of free and paid options. You’ll find:
Free tools, downloads, and blogs
Low-cost self-paced courses
Several lower cost 1:1 coaching throughout the year for those who want more personalised support
We try to keep everything accessible and fair, with understanding that we are all navigating systemic barriers.

We hear you. Many of us have experienced harm or overwhelm in spaces that promised safety. Sensitive and Queer is built slowly, with care. We set clear community agreements, centre rest and consent, and design everything with sensitivity and nervous system support in mind.
Our spaces are introvert-friendly and pressure-free. You’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels safe and right for you, whether that’s sharing, observing, or simply being.
Most courses are self-paced with recordings, transcripts, and downloadable materials. Life happens. You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You can move through everything in your own way and time.

We believe that supporting LGBTQ+ lives, especially sensitive ones, is inherently political. We stand for inclusion, rest, bodily autonomy, anti-racism, trans liberation, neurodiversity, and collective care. We don’t tolerate hate, bigotry, or dehumanising behaviour in any form.
That being said, as highly sensitive people, oppression and aggression can deeply affect our nervous systems and so in collective spaces we try to support everyone’s needs and boundaries by minimising political discussion unless around empowerment and support.
For 1:1 support, you are welcome to bring any discussions to the coaching space.

Yes, many of our tools and approaches are designed with sensory processing and emotional regulation in mind. While we’re not a clinical service, we aim to be neurodivergent-affirming. Any feedback is welcome.
-
Currently we’re online-only, but we’re exploring possibilities for slow-paced, sensory-aware retreats and gatherings in the future. This is the dream!
