Life Coaching for Highly Sensitive LGBTQ+
Life coaching for highly sensitive queers and introverts who want to embrace their sensitivity, build deep self-trust and resilience, and design a life that feels authentic.

What you’re up against as an LGBTQ+ HSP
Being a highly sensitive queer person in a world that rewards toughness and conformity can feel like carrying too much, too often. Instead of feeling seen, supported, or safe to be your full self, you might find yourself shrinking, second-guessing, or burning out.
Here’s what many of us are are challenged by:
Overwhelm and burnout
You feel everything deeply, energy shifts, emotional undercurrents, and social cues, often leaving you emotionally exhausted and overstimulated.
Chronic self-suppression
You’ve learned to hide your sensitivity or queerness to avoid judgment, rejection, or discomfort from others, wearing a mask that doesn’t reflect your true self.
Constant hypervigilance
Constantly reading the room for safety or exclusion, which keeps you in a low-level state of stress and alertness.
Internalised self doubt
Questioning your intuition, your creativity, your worth or your place in the world.
Setting boundaries
Difficulty saying no, protecting your energy, or putting yourself first, leading to people-pleasing, resentment, or burnout.
Trusting your pace
You feel the pressure to keep up, even when your body and intuition are asking you to slow down.
“I immediately felt very comfortable with Aimee and in a safe space where I could be open and honest about a range of things in my life.”
- Emma, Leader (she/they)
How Coaching can transform your life
LGBTQ+ HSP Coaching offers a space where your sensitivity and queerness are not just accepted, they’re honoured. Instead of pushing through overwhelm, doubting yourself, or shrinking to fit in, you’ll learn how to move through life with more clarity, calm, and confidence.
Here’s what’s possible when you’re supported in the right way:
Gain clarity and purpose
Uncover what truly matters, your values, your needs, your deepest desires, and your next right steps.
Build emotional resilience
Learn to identify triggers, soothe your nervous system, and practice skills that help you ride emotional waves without being consumed by them.
Deeper self-acceptance
Embrace your sensitivity and queer identity not as burdens but as sources of insight, creativity, and power.
Aligned decision-making
Build the confidence to say no, protect your energy, and make choices rooted in your values, not in people-pleasing or pressure.
Find authentic expression
Free yourself from perfectionism, show up in your full truth, and connect with the unmasked you.
Future roadmap
Map a path forward that’s aligned with your sensitivity, your queerness, and your values from the inside out.
“Aimee is kind and compassionate, as well as being an astute observer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”
- Fiona, Entrepreneur (she/her)
Working with a LGBTQ+ HSP Coach
Hi, I’m Aimee, I help highly sensitive queer people stop second-guessing themselves and start building lives that feel aligned, grounded, and free.
Because when you stop shrinking and start owning who you are, everything changes: your energy, your relationships, your sense of purpose. You don’t need to be less sensitive or more normal. You just need the right support to become fully you
Many LGBTQ+ HSPs have spent years masking, over-adapting, or putting themselves last. Supporting them to reconnect with their inner wisdom, set boundaries that support their nervous systems, and step into their full selves, without apology, is the most meaningful work I can imagine.
I’m a Highly sensitive person, I get it.

A coach holds someone as capable and creative, and they work with them to find their path. Coaching helps support someone in new ways of being and doing. It is a collaborative process where you explore a broader range of areas across life — career, health, relationships, etc. It can involve challenging and powerful questions, reframing perspectives, and is driven towards transformation and growth.
Through coaching, I help highly sensitive queer folks to step out of survival mode, trust themselves and make confident choices

Mentoring is helpful if you are looking to better your craft or skillset from someone who has trodden a similar path. It helps to deepen a specialism usually in a professional development space. Mentors give advice and share experiences and insights that can support another person’s journey.

Coaching can delve into areas of mental health and bring up strong emotions for people. While working with emotions is integral to coaching and is a supportive safe space to work with clients, ethical coaches know when their client would be better placed in therapy. This is when the client needs to work through deep trauma, rather than process feelings that won’t cause possible harm.

Co-Active training is recognised as the ‘gold standard’ of coaching by the Institute of Coaching, a Harvard Medical School affiliate that has linked the four cornerstones of the Co-Active Model to evidence-based scientific research.
Co-Active coaching is based on discovery, awareness, and choice. It uncovers what we are doing, and explores who we are being in the world. Based on the principles that we are all naturally creative, resourceful and whole; Co-Active means simply “being in action…together” or “being together…in action.”

In my experience coaching online is just as effective as in-person - and it’s a lot more convenient for clients. That being said, I am very open to connecting in-person and will be looking to do retreats in the future.
I currently work with clients remotely over Zoom or Google Meet and there is additional support via email in between sessions if needed. I love that I get to work with people from all over the world and have coached people from 🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇭🇷 🇧🇪 🇫🇷 🇳🇱 🇨🇦 🇩🇪 🇬🇧 🇹🇭 🇸🇬 🇺🇬

Coaching is a collaborative process where we will work together in explorations that lead to impactful insight and fresh thought. It can involve challenging questions and evoke deep insights and powerful change. Sometimes new insights can happen fast and sometimes not, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to coaching and we will work together to explore what comes up for you.
Coaching will involve a commitment to doing the work to make the change. Coming with intent and openness is key for us to get somewhere.

Yes, of course - if you are an ally. This simply means that you are heterosexual and/or cisgender person who tries to make the world a better place for people who identify as LGBTQIA+ through support and inclusion, then you are welcome to coaching together.

The price of coaching is based on the overall value it brings to your life. Coaching is highly personalised and an invaluable space for personal development. The value and benefits can be immediate and/or continue over the years, from role to role, throughout a career and a lifetime.
I don’t sell one-off coaching sessions because experience has shown me that measurable results and lasting change need time to process and action.
Research shows that fewer than 8 sessions often isn’t enough to create lasting change, especially for neurodiverse minds and I want my clients to get sustainable results that last.
I do offer a limited number of low income coaching sessions throughout the year. Please message me and tell me a little about yourself to join the waitlist.
Check out the community for a lower-cost alternative to one-to-one coaching that includes HSP resources and peer support.

Yes, organisations often pay for coaching from learning and training budgets. Asking for support might be because of
a new role or level in leadership
needing support with imposter syndrome
low self-confidence or self-esteem
areas of improvement in performance
personal development and self-improvement
Companies can pay in full or part for coaching. Feel free to get in touch and see if we are good fit, and we can discuss what works best for you.
